“Physics teaching is one of the most challenging and fulfilling careers you could consider. Our schools need more specialist physics teachers than ever before….”*

Physics is about the physical world (the interaction between matter and energy) and this PGCE Secondary Physics course aims to provide a pathway into teaching for good Physics graduates that are passionate about their subject. It is designed to prepare students for teaching all aspects of science to at least Key Stage 3, and Physics at GCSE and ‘A’ level.  Good physics teachers are in high demand and government bursaries of up to £30,000 are in place for strong candidates.

During the course you will have the opportunity to observe, team teach and deliver lessons of your own to children of different ages and abilities, incorporating dynamic teaching and learning styles whilst also exploring the essential practical based side of the subject.
